The last post

June 1, 2016

It seems such a long time ago that I wrote the first post on this blog and now it is time to write the last one.

Although it has been fun I needed to get myself a real website, which I have done.

If you want to continue to follow me there is a blog section on the new website and I hate to say but it will probably get as much input from me as this one did.

Anyway, please visit me at

Happy New Year!

I am determined to post more this year.

Would you like to try your hand at lettering? I would love to teach you and I am holding a one day workshop in Pittsburgh, PA later this month (24th January).

And I’m back again!

November 13, 2014

The summer was crazy. Good crazy! Lots of brides, lots of shows and a road trip or two.

I tested out a few new product lines and they were successful and so the winter will be spent developing them and just staying warm.

So here are a few photos of Summer and Fall 2014.

I’m back

July 7, 2014

Halfway through the year and I have really neglected this space. I have been so busy with weddings and now it is time for SouthSide works exposed.

My fingers are flying.

Here are a few images of work I have done and some new things for the market. The chalkboard seating chart is just a sample. I couldn’t photograph the real one without showing too many names.
